Videos with testimonies and images of victims of the attacks with apparent chemical weapons used in the long war in Syria against civilians, in particular women and children, are proliferating in the media and social media. They are so shocking that they produce consternation, indignation, and pain. In response to such an atrocity, at dawn on Saturday, April 14, the United States, France and the United Kingdom launched a joint attack, which likewise will generate negative consequences. Because of these actions, a diplomatic offensive began with still uncertain results.
