Proper treatment and against abuse
The Teresian Association presents its Policy to promote safeguarding prevent violence and act against abuse of children, adolescents and vulnerable adults.
A seminar-workshop on the Protection Policy of the Teresian Association to promote the proper care, to prevent violence and on how to act against abuse towards children, adolescents and vulnerable groups, took place in Santa María de Los Negrales (Madrid) from July 23 to 26, 2019.
The annual meeting of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life with representatives of the laity, has had this year as a theme “Prevention of sexual abuse: commitment of ecclesial associations and movements.”
The Commission on Proper Treatment and Action against abuses continues its work, aimed at preparing the “Policy for the Protection of Children, Adolescents and Vulnerable Persons” of the Teresian Association.
The “Proper treatment and action against abuse comission”, holded a meeting recently and has expanded the number of members. They share now the Action Plan decided and the proposals that they want to develop in the short term.
The government of the Teresian Association has recently created a "Commission for proper treatment and action against abuses," to develop its own regulations and the necessary protection protocols for minors and other vulnerable persons.
