The government of the Teresian Association has recently created a “Commission for proper treatment and action against abuses,” to develop its own regulations and the necessary protection protocols for minors and other vulnerable persons.

The Teresian Association presents its Policy to promote safeguarding prevent violence and act against abuse of children, adolescents and vulnerable adults.

It is a reference publication for all countries where the TA is present. This policy and the forms and protocols included in its pages must be adapted in each country, in accordance with proper laws.

Through this work that the TA make public now in English, we commit ourselves, from our charism, to promote training processes that help to raise awareness and act in coherence, in face of the problem of sexual abuse and agressions, not only by actions taken in response to harm caused, also through prevention and creation of a culture of safeguarding, defense of human dignity and promotion of the rights of every person.
