Under the slogan "50 years in movement", ACIT Joven (AJ) celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and for this reason it has prepared a series of activities. The first act will be the National Meeting, which will take place from October 9 to 12 at the San José Retreat House, in El Escorial (Madrid).
During these five decades, many adolescents and young people have found in AJ a space to grow, to meet, to discover a way of living the Gospel in the style of Pedro Poveda and to commit themselves to reality. There have also been many members of the TA who have accompanied groups, promoted projects and contributed to this proposal continuing to reach new generations; and, in turn, for some young people, AJ has also been a path that has led them to later join the Teresian Association as members.
National Meeting
The National Meeting next October will have as its priority protagonists the adolescents and young people who are now part of AJ and those who have lived this experience throughout these 50 years.
The objective is to promote the meeting between generations, to be grateful for the history received and to look together at the present and the future of AJ. That is why the presence of members of the TA who have accompanied or shared this path in a special way will also be very valuable, explain the National Commission of ACIT Joven.
This will be just the beginning of an itinerary that will last until December 2027, with different national and local moments in which the entire AJ and TA family can feel a part. One of them will be on January 11, when they will promote meetings, in coordination with the Local Coordination Teams, in the cities where AJ is present.
Support and dissemination
The National Commission also encourages the dissemination of this message among former Acit Joven or people linked to the Movement, who may not have heard the news but who are eager to reconnect and meet again with it and with the Teresian Association.
Likewise, any collaboration with the National Meeting is always welcome, both in support and logistical tasks and in the accompaniment of groups. They are also looking for collaborators in the training of animators or in the strengthening of the local realities of AJ.

Another way to collaborate is to financially support this path of "50 years in movement". The contributions received through Row 0 will help to facilitate the participation of young people who may need it and to sustain the activities of ACIT Joven throughout this celebration.
