The International Youth Meeting of the Teresian Association is fast approaching. It will take place from 22 to 29 July in Assisi, Italy. We would like to remind you that the event is open to young people aged 19 to 30 from all over the world who share the charism of the TA. Registration has been open since May 2025.
During this gathering, we will spend time getting to know St Francis of Assisi better and learning about his way of life based on love for all creation. We will walk through his homeland, visit the places where he lived, and meet people who today follow in his footsteps working for peace and care of the Earth.
We will also be joined by Gregoria Ruiz, president of the Teresian Association, who will open the gathering and welcome all participants.
In the first part we will look at our immediate surroundings, and then we will share our perspectives and together we will dream of something new. As Pedro Poveda said, young people can change the world. Now, Pope Leo XIV invites us to be tireless peacemakers in the name of Jesus.
