Report of the TA commissions who are responsible of ensuring the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people in the different areas where there are minors and vulnerable people, and the monitoring of the Protection Policy.
An online meeting of the International Advisory Panel (IAP) for the monitoring of the Protection Policy of the TA and the Executive Commission for Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Persons took place on March 7 with the Director, Maite Uribe, and the Governing Council of the Teresian Association.
The purpose of the meeting was to review and take stock of the four years of commitment and work of these commissions with respect to the mandate received.
The Protection Policy of the TA specifies that the members of the IAP have a two-year renewable mandate. This team started in 2019, renewed its commitment in 2021 and will complete its task in 2023.
The coordinator of the IAP, Carmen Serrano, presented the actions carried out during these years, followed by a rich exchange on the opportunities and challenges encountered in the journey of the IAP.
