On the occasion of the Teresian Association Covadonga 2024 pilgrimage, the Information Department took the opportunity to speak to some of our representatives who came here to make the annual votive offering. This is a summary of their testimonies which can also be seen on the Teresian Association YouTube channel.
Casilda Villarrubia Elibiyo (Equatorial Guinea)
Casilda Villarrubia Elibiyo, a PA member from Equatorial Guinea, told us about her feelings and emotions at being part of this event for the first time in her life.
Casilda Villarrubia is a trained nurse who has a degree in clinical analysis. She completed her training and studies at the Catholic University of Yaoundé in Cameroon, where she lived for a few years.
She currently works at the Castroverde Laboratory and accompanies a youth group. In the interview, she talks about her work and how she reacted when she was asked to make the votive offering in Covadonga.

Inmaculada Peinado Millán and Álvaro Mestre Linares (Youth for Education, Spain)
Inmaculada Peinado Millán (Córdoba) and Álvaro Mestre Linares (Alicante) have been part of the Youth for Education movement since it began in 2020. They are very excited to be part of this initiative that started just four years ago. They tell us about it in this interview.
Both Inmaculada and Álvaro are former students of the TA and animators of ACIT Joven. They formed part of the group making the 2024 votive offering on behalf of the TA in Covadonga. Inmaculada is a trained primary school teacher with studies in English. She currently works in the TA School in Sevilla. Alvaro is currently studying for a double degree in Teacher Training College.
In the video they tell us how much this recognition of the Youth for Education movement has meant for them. They give an account of the activities being carried out.

Andrea Valeska Sanhueza Hernández (Chile)
Andrea Valeska Sanhueza Hernández, a Chilean from the Cunco region, is a PA member at the fundamental training stage. She is a social worker with a wealth of pastoral experience who represents the new generations in the Teresian Association. She said that the fact of giving her testimony made her more aware of her commitment to the TA.
In this interview, we asked her what it has meant for her to give her testimony during the Covadonga 2024 pilgrimage and what the TA brings to society from her point of view.

Patty L. Severich (Bolivia)
The president of the ACIT Bolivia Association, Patty L. Severich, is excited to have had the opportunity to visit Covadonga in 2024 and to make the votive offering to the Santina.
She said that being a TA representative making the votive offering was a great opportunity for her since Covadonga and Guadix are some of the places in Spain that members of the Teresian Association like to visit.
She tells us how she feels about this experience and describes the work she is doing in Bolivia as a member of the Teresian Association.
