The NARCEA Publishing House has just released the book La vida puede más (Life Can Do More) by Victoria Díez, with an introduction and selection of texts by Carmen Fernández Aguinaco, a member of the Teresian Association.
This new book, which belongs to the collections ‘Palabras con rostro’ (Words with a Face) and ‘Guías para la formación’ (Guides for Formation), conveys the challenging and fighting spirit of Victoria Díez, the young rural teacher who gave her life for her faith.
It is an invitation, both for young people and adults, to live deeply rooted and with wings to fly to the end of the world, according to NARCEA Publishing House. The book reflects her famous phrase: ‘Cheer up, friends, life is so much more!’, which was not a spur-of-the-moment impulse, but the fruit of an intense and coherent life.
She had a deep relationship with Christ and, despite being aware of the reality in which she had to live, she never lost her joy or enthusiasm.
This work offers keys to a full life, in a simple way, as Victoria Díez was: ‘The one who can do more’.
The book can be purchased through the Narcea Publishing House website.
