Los Negrales hosted on July 23 to 30 the first face-to-face meeting of the Council of Culture's permanent committee since its appointment in September 2021.
Participants in the sessions included Lurdes Figueiral (director), Inmaculada Balfagón (Spain), Quetos Castro (Mexico), Rudelyn “Bebing” Demerin (Philippines), Mariana Facciola (Argentina), Maria Theresa “Matet” Gayondato (Ireland), Ana Velázquez (Spain).

During these days we worked on two main topics:
1) the process of preparation for the TA Associations International Meeting (TAAIM) on line 1, “Weaving networks of fraternity in the world: diversity, inclusion, dialogue and equality”;
2) the design of the Council of Culture’s (CC) Strategic Plan.
Preparation TAAIM
Regarding the preparation of the International Meeting, work has been done collating the contributions of the groups on the first phase “see”, and worksheets for the collation of the synthesis for the second phase “discern” and third phase, “act”, has been prepared.
We highlight the invaluable participation of the TA members, collaborators and friends in the process, the quality of the contributions, and the positive assessment of the constitution of the groups at an international level that allows addressing the issues in a varied and complex way.
Strategic Plan
Also, work began on the design of the Strategic Plan of the Council of Culture. The purpose of the Council, the definition made by the Statutes of the Teresian Association and the Assembly of 2000, as well as the current Strategic Plan was read to assess the lines completed, consider those that are still to be carried out, and propose new lines of work with their objectives and actions for the coming years.
Each day began with a shared prayer to give way to intense sessions in which the methodology of collaborative work was applied.
