
The University of Seville has honoured Consuelo Flecha García with an award in recognition of her life-long dedication to fostering equality in the classroom and in society in general.

The municipality of Colmenar Viejo in Madrid where María Dolores Gómez Molleda was born, paid tribute to her as a historian on the occasion of the centenary of her birth. This was part of the local programme of events and exhibitions for Women's Week.
