The Sagrada Familia Training Centre in Malaga in Spain celebrated the end of the school year on 19 June with the students of Spanish and literacy classes for foreigners. The Centre is run by the diocesan Caritas and the Teresian Association in Malaga.
These classes have been running for 10 years. They are part of a joint project coordinated by Caritas and the Teresian Association in Malaga. This year 114 students of 23 nationalities took part, split into seven levels.

To mark the end of this year’s course, the Sagrada Familia Centre invited the students to come and receive a diploma. In total, around 60 people from different cultures and nationalities attended.
“We had a lovely afternoon. Some students spoke about their experience of the course. They not only learn Spanish language, but they are also listened to and helped,” said Rosa Barrachina, a volunteer teacher from the centre who was present at the event.
