The evening was ably emceed by Tresha Macatumbas from the Philippines. Monnitte Monana, country facilitator of the YLP from the Holy Land began the evening with a prayer reminding each one of us of our call to be sent forth. Misa Murakami from Japan welcomed everyone and set the tone for the evening. Goretti Gonsalves read the message of Maite Uribe, President of the Teresian Association.

When the youth leaders signed up for the program, they also committed to a 3 month personal/ group project. Some of them shared about the already ongoing projects and some about the projects they are embarking upon. These were inspirational. They also expressed their gratitude to the TA and specifically to the country facilitators. While doing so, they also enumerated their personal learnings. compromisos

3 types of certificates were awarded.

  • To those who completed the program with above 80% attendance and a personal project.
  • To those who completed the program with above 80% attendance.
  • To those who participated in the program with less than 80% attendance.

An audiovisual tribute was given to the Country Facilitators: Eloisa Palisada from Japan, Jojoh Lepatan from Taiwan, Monnitte Monana from the Holy land, Sylvia Fernandes from India and Jean Japitana from the Philippines who have given much of their time to the program during these three and a half years, and to all our module writers was shared.

Jojoh, helped everyone raise a virtual toast to the participants, the TA and those present.

In the end Eloisa brought the program to a close reminding the young people of the sense of community and power that they have and to constantly seek the accompaniment and intercession of Mother Mary.
