The Teresian Association in Chile joins the universal Teresian Association once again, as, from different parts of the world and at different times, it responds to the invitation to give thanks for and recognise our Marian origin, encouraged by Fr. Poveda in 1934. This a gesture we have carried out without interruption since then.

On Saturday, 31 May, the day on which the Church celebrates the feast of the Visitation of Mary to her cousin Elizabeth, we celebrated this event at the Teresian Association School at 11:00 a.m. with a tribute to Our Lady of Covadonga, followed by the Eucharist at 11:30 a.m.
The Teresian Association in Chile together with our three schools: Teresa Brown de Ariztía in La Calera, Alberto Pérez in Maipú, and the Teresian Association School, along with friends, past pupils, etc., gathered to thank Our Lady and ask her protection.

It was a beautiful morning of Marian celebration, according to reports from Chile:
“We were welcomed as pilgrims of goodness and hope, walking in faith and trust! We were one great act of thanksgiving, a Magnificat, in unison with the song of Mary.”
“We walked in faith and hope to arrive at the Breaking of Bread, with the certainty that Mary continues to walk and create her story among us. We ask that her visit may encourage us to continue giving our best, hastening to love and serve.”
