The Teresian Association is launching a training activity that will take place online during 2025 aimed at members, collaborators, friends... people interested in accompanying the various family situations. Workshops begin in March and end in October, conducted in Spanish and English.

Members of the TA and MIT, co-workers and friends are invited and encouraged to continue learning and to become qualified in the task of accompaniment, focused on concrete situations of family life.

Approach and methodology

The approach is based on a systemic view of accompaniment, taking into account the intercultural dimension. It will be carried out through an itinerary of four workshops, in virtual mode.

Each of the workshops will consist of two sessions, on different dates. The first workshop will consist of a single session.

  • The first session will focus on the illustration of the theme, led by experts.
  • The second session will explore the subject in greater depth, based on the illustration previously received and taking into account the personal experience of the participants.

Situations where the focus will be on accompaniment

  1. General approaches to accompaniment.
  2. Accompanying families in situations of loss and bereavement.
  3. Accompanying families in healthy emotional-sexual development in childhood and adolescence.
  4. Accompanying families to help them understand, detect and prevent situations of violence.

The entry point is Workshop 1 which is a requirement. Participation in all four workshops is recommended, although it is possible to participate in one or more of them.

Training is offered in Spanish and English.
