The Teresian Association members in Metro Manila, Philippines, recently set out on a pilgrimage to the Jubilee Churches in the Diocese of Cubao and the Archdiocese of Manila.
A Jubilee year is a time to experience God’s love and mercy. In a Jubilee year, the Church invites us to visit pilgrimage churches, pass through the Holy door, and experience prayer as a sacred journey of faith and renewal.
As we celebrate 75 years of the Teresian Association's presence in the Philippines, the TA members in Metro Manila embarked on a pilgrimage to the Jubilee Churches in the Diocese of Cubao and the Archdiocese of Manila last September 13, 2025, as a meaningful expression of gratitude and hope.
The pilgrimage began with a Eucharistic celebration at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral at 9:00 am.
As part of the pilgrimage, the following Jubilee churches were visited:
Diocese of Cubao
- Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
- Diocesan Shrine of Jesus, the Divine Word.
- National Shrine of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of La Naval de Manila Minor Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Archdiocese of Manila
- San Carlos Seminary (Pilgrim Church designated for Seminarians, Deacons, Priests,Bishops, Consecrated Persons, and Missionaries).
- Saint John Bosco Parish (Pilgrim Church designated for Artists, Musical Bands, and Athletes).
- National Shrine of the Sacred Heart (Pilgrim Church designated for Entrepreneurs and Business Owners).
- San Felipe Neri Parish (Pilgrim Church designated for Teenagers, Youth, and Students).
This pilgrimage has been a moment of grace and thanksgiving for God’s fidelity to the Teresian Association through the years, renewing our gratitude and inspiring us to continue the mission with greater hope in the years to come. May this Jubilee year continue to be a profound reminder of God’s enduring grace to the Teresian Association in the Philippines.
