From Cebu (Philippines), they send this brief account of their experience celebrating the Voto de Covadonga.
In fulfillment of our promise of love and devotion to our Lady, we, the TA Cebu community, visited the church under her patronage, Mary Mediatrix of All Graces, the Church of Mary Co-redemptrix in Talamban, Cebu on September 9, 2025.
The visit was attended by the members, friends, and the youth as part of their monthly formation session and to share with them our mission and charism.
After the assembly of the participants, the day began with an orientation that reminded us of the significance and meaning of our pilgrimage, specifically the meaning of" Voto de Covadonga" for the Teresian Association.
Afterwards, the Sacrament of Confession was made available, allowing us to renew our hearts before the Eucharistic celebration. The Holy Mass was a moment of uniting ourselves in thanksgiving and devotion to our Blessed Mother and of highlighting the importance of prayer to ask for her intercession and to draw us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
After sharing lunch in fellowship, we gathered once more in prayer, where a floral offering was made to Mama Mary- a heartfelt symbol of our love, gratitude, and trust in her motherly care.
A total of 42 participants —22 youth and 20 adults—joined this meaningful pilgrimage. Each one went home with renewed faith and a deeper love for Mary, who always leads us to her Son, Jesus.
