October 7th is a feast of Mary, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. It was also the day when members of the Teresian Association and their friends had the “Voto De Covadonga” pilgrimage to ToLiu, in a parish named after Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, which also serves as pilgrimage sanctuary for the Divine Mercy.
The day also coincided with the founding anniversary of the parish by Dominican Missionaries. Members from Tainan and friends took the train and those from Taipei rented a bus to go to the venue.

Rosary
We were welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm by the parish priest and some parishioners. There was a brief introduction about the sanctuary followed by sharing of the significance of the “Voto de Covadonga” and then a Eucharistic celebration.
The parish priest, in his homily mentioned about us, being co-creators with the Creator, the great Designer and that we are co-responsible in making the world a better place. He also encouraged everyone to contemplate the mystery of Jesus life in praying the rosary everyday and that also like the members of the Teresian Association, we witness to the values of Jesus.
Everybody gathered together for picture-taking and immediately we started a special dynamic of praying the Rosary. We were divided into five small groups and had a sharing about some questions related to each joyful mystery.
A delicious lunch followed with some surprise blessings from the parish.
Every year, Taiwan members of the Association and friends go to a shrine dedicated to Mary to have the “Voto de Covadonga”. During the pandemic years, it was celebrated online.
