Santa María de Los Negrales has opened its doors again after a brief period of three months in which its air conditioning system was being reconditioned. Activities in this place of meeting and welcome have resumed with some interesting new features.
The new air conditioning system at Santa María de Los Negrales has replaced the original gas energy source with aerothermal energy, a system that uses energy from the outside air to cool and to heat and to generate hot water. As a result, it is more sustainable and environmentally friendly. In this way the ideal of ecological awareness and commitment to our common home underlying this Teresian Association project is maintained.
The activities that are now available for the coming days and months are described below. A new feature is that people can now access them online. Anyone from anywhere in the world will be able to take part in some of these meetings over the Internet.

‘Conversations in Los Negrales’ is also virtual
‘Conversations in Los Negrales’ is back. These are opportunities to allow people to connect with an experience and share its richness. In these encounters, there is time for interiorisation and inspiring dialogues that allow us to bring to mind the life and reality that we envision on a personal, local and global level.
For this season Santa María de Los Negrales is offering three conversational spaces on inspiring themes. They will take place on certain Saturdays in May and June. This year, the most notable new feature is the introduction of online participation to make it available for those unable to be present in person.

Experience-workshop
An experience-workshop will be led by Luis Murillo, parish priest of the Santísima Trinidad parish in Collado-Villalba, and will be in-person only. Entitled ‘Building a sense of “us all”’, it aims to take significant steps towards a way of life at the service of the common good. This experience will take a look at the possibilities and difficulties in our ‘I-you-we’ relationships.
The first session was held in April and another is scheduled for May.
