Carmen Velasco, a member of the Teresian Association, has received the Pro Ecclesia Malacitana Medal for her 20 years of service as Education Delegate for the Diocese of Malaga.

To present this award, the diocese held a tribute during the meeting of Catholic Religion teachers in Malaga on 18 October.
After the Eucharist, the new Education Delegate of the Diocese of Malaga, Antonio Miguel Sánchez Herrera, gave some of those present the opportunity to express their gratitude for Carmen's work.
Vicar Javier Guerrero then presented Carmen Velasco with the first Pro Ecclesia Malacitana Medal awarded by José Antonio Satué, Bishop of Malaga, in gratitude for her generous dedication.
