The Espacio Cultural Plaza de la Concha (Plaza de la Concha Cultural Center) has received a medal and an honorary diploma for its commitment to intercultural and interreligious dialogue in Córdoba.
During the opening ceremony for the new 2025-2026 academic year at the Espacio Cultural Plaza de la Concha, D. Francisco Muñoz, president of the Social Council of the University of Córdoba (UCO), presented the director, Carmina Gómez, with a medal and an honorary diploma in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the society of Cordoba.
“There are many quality academic activities carried out from the Casa de la Concha for the world…This space has long deserved recognition,” said the president of the UCO Social Council.
At the same time, the report on the previous academic year’s activities was presented and the cultural and scientific initiatives for the new 2025-2026 period were announced. Some of the speakers highlighted its firm commitment to promoting intercultural and interreligious dialogue, using science and culture as vehicles for understanding and collaboration.
The Martín Codax Choir of the Casa de Galicia ended the gathering with a performance that fused tradition and emotion.
