On 14 August, we had the election of a new General Council for the Teresian Association. It took place at the end of the 19^th General Assembly which concluded in Santa María de Los Negrales on 15 August. Their mandate is for five years, until the 20^th Assembly.

The 19^th General Assembly of the Teresian Association opened on Tuesday 1 August in Santa María de los Negrales near Madrid, Spain.

On 28 July 2023, the anniversary of the martyrdom of St Pedro Poveda, the feast was celebrated in Santa María de Los Negrales, Madrid, where his remains rest. Some of the young people going to WYD in Lisbon and the participants at the Teresian Association International Meeting of Member Associations (TAAIM) joined in the celebration.
