
In the open and spacious setting of the Veritas Institute in Madrid, Spain, the 30th anniversary party of InteRed was held on 6 November.

Maddalena Pievaioli is the new Postulator General of the Teresian Association. This follows the approval of her appointment by the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints on 19 October and her taking of the oath of office in the Vatican on 4 November.

An exhibition on Clara Campoamor at the National Library includes the Teresian Association and some of its first members who were among the women who broke new ground and achieved new advances in the recognition of equality in Spain.

TA members and friends in Jerusalem joined together on the feast of St. Theresa to celebrate the golden jubilee of the priestly ordination of the Nuncio to Israel and Cyprus and Apostolic Delegate in Jerusalem and Palestine, Filipino Archbishop Adolfo Tito Yllana.

The replica in the Philippines of the “Voto de Covadonga” was celebrated this year for 3 days from September 22 to 24. Members and friends from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao participated virtually. The highlight of the activity was held on the 24th with a mass followed by a short program.

The much awaited book The History of the Teresian Association was launched on September 29, at Saint Pedro Poveda College in Quezon City, Philippines, with over 70 persons –composed of members, friends, family and staff– attending onsite and with many others watching the simultaneous broadcast on YouTube.

A large group of TA members with family and friends made a pilgrimage to the Covadonga Shrine in Asturias, Spain, on 1st and 2nd October. They went for the Voto de Covadonga2022, an annual event when results and outcomes of the Teresian Association mission are offered in gratitude to Our Lady.
