
Next October 1 and 2, the Teresian Association makes its annual pilgrimage to Covadonga following the desire of Pedro Poveda, its Founder, to offer to the Santina –Our Lady of Covadonga– the fruits of life and mission harvested during the year.

After almost a year and a half of virtual sessions, 16 participants of the Asian Youth Leadership Program from India, Holy Land and the Philippines came together from July 24 - 29 for an encounter entitled Youth Leadership in the Post-Pandemic World at Montfort Sadan, Pune, India.
Around 50 young people from the Americas and Europe met in Lima, Peru, in mid-August to mark the culmination of three years of work and activities focusing on participation and democracy.

The International TA Youth Network is inviting alumni to an Africa-Europe Meeting in Paris, from 23 to 25 September.

San Pedro Poveda Parish in Catalunan Pequeño, Davao City (Philippines), held its first parochial fiesta this year on July 28 with the theme “Buhing Pagtoo Giniyahan ni San Pedro Poveda Bisan sa Kalisdanan ug Pandemya.” (Living faith guided by Saint Pedro Poveda even in difficulties and the pandemic.).

On 31 July in the Parish of San Julián in Chinautla, Guatemala, we celebrated the day of San Pedro Poveda with a very special event – we placed his picture in a prominent place in the church.

The 12th of August marks the 86th anniversary of the death of Blessed Victoria Díez, a young teacher and member of the TA who gave her life for her faith in the Cordoban village of Hornachuelos in 1936.
