The Teresian Association makes a pilgrimage to Covadonga, a Marian shrine in the Principality of Asturias (Spain), on September 26 and 27, fulfilling the desire of Pedro Poveda, its founder, to offer every year before the Blessed Virgin, popularly known as the Santina, the fruits of the mission wherever it is present.

After the positive experience of the summer of 2025 (when in Letojanni, Sicily, a large group made up mainly of young families gathered for a meeting entitled "Training for Life"), the Teresian Association in Italy has organized this year another gathering, from July 28 to August 1, entitled "Take care of me, let us take care of each other", to which was added the famous affirmation of St. Peter Poveda "with heart and mind in the present moment".

Carmen Sánchez Sánchez-Mármol found a way to fulfil her spiritual quest within the Teresian Association when she attended Cedar Court residential school (Surrey, England) as a student to study English. The joy and enthusiasm she witnessed there prompted her to become a member of the Association shortly afterwards back in Spain. Although she was reluctant to continue her studies, this new direction in her life served as the spur that encouraged her to study English Language and Literature, eventually leading her to a career in teaching.

On the afternoon of 25 July, we celebrated the life and legacy of Saint Pedro Poveda at the Teresian Association headquarters in Lima, Peru. This open community gathering was attended by members, collaborators, families, and friends. This year, the celebration coincided with Peru’s National Day on 28 July, the date of Poveda's martyrdom.
