The Teresa Martin Co-educational School in Quetzaltenango (Guatemala) organised an eco-walk at the end of May and a reforestation day on El Baúl hill, under the slogan: Leave your mark and save the planet! The event was coordinated by the Department of Protected Areas and Environmental Education of the municipality of Quetzaltenango and saw the participation of teachers, students and parents.

The webinar on Migration in Europe organised by the Teresian Association’s European Platform on 12 June was the first step in shaping the agreement, announced in November 2024, to create the TA Migration Network. It was attended by some 160 people from different corners of the world, including TA members, collaborators and friends, among others.

On the feast of its patron, Saint Ferdinand III, the city of Seville (Spain) has awarded the 2025 Medal to the Teresian Association for its one-hundred-year presence in the city. “This medal recognises a century of sowing the future with a call to service” through “an education that integrates faith, culture and social justice.” These were the words introducing the award.

The Teresian Association in Chile joins the universal Teresian Association once again, as, from different parts of the world and at different times, it responds to the invitation to give thanks for and recognise our Marian origin, encouraged by Fr. Poveda in 1934. This a gesture we have carried out without interruption since then.
