
The name of Holguín doctor Bernardo Fernández Velázquez and San Pedro Poveda are now linked to give life to a new stage of the Diocesan Library of the city of Holguín, Cuba.

The Teresian Association participated in the 2025 Vocations Congress in Spain. The topic was Who am I for? Assembly of people called for mission. It was organised by the Spanish Episcopal Conference.

The Second International Congress on Humanising Education in the Digital Age, organised by the Pedro Poveda Academic Chair at the Pontifical University of Salamanca (UPSA), was held in Salamanca in Spain from 5 to 8 February.

The celebrations marking the centenary of the pontifical approval of the Teresian Association were formally concluded in Rome on Friday 31 January 2025 with a conference in the Gregorian University Aula Magna. The year of celebrations had opened in Madrid on 12 January 2024.
