
Several people gathered as a ‘Teresian Association family’ to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the pontifical approval of Pedro Poveda’s association, in the port city of Chimbote, located in the department of Ancash in northern Peru. This is the chronicle of the event held on 7 September, which was sent to us.

On 14 and 15 September, members of the Teresian Association in Argentina and Uruguay organised a special meeting to bring together the two countries.

The Diocese of Ahmedabad is celebrating its 75th anniversary with various events and programs. On September 15th, the Diocese hosted a ‘Girl Child Day’ for teenage girls.

The Youth for Cultural Exchange camp took place once again during the first week of July. It was organised by the Rajab Project (Jaen) which is part of the local Education and Culture Association, by the Mambré Welcome Centre run by the Cordoba Association for Equality and Development, and by the AMISI Association. These projects work for the inclusion of migrants and people at risk of exclusion. A document has been compiled that collects the testimonies of participants with their impressions of this experience. They mostly described it as ‘enriching’.

The Pedro Poveda School in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has unveiled a mural of Our Lady of Covadonga as they continue to celebrate the centenary of the pontifical approval of the Teresian Association.

Chile recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of the pontifical approval of the Teresian Association. We have received a chronicle from there about the event held in Santiago Cathedral.
